OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS 2025 – WORK EXPERIENCE

Our high school work experience program offers students the chance to explore the inner working of a regional art gallery and gain insight into the diverse range of careers within the arts including visitor services, collection management, curatorial, learning, and public programs. 

The program is offered to students in years 10 – 12 during select periods in Terms 2, 3 and 4.

Monday 12 – Friday 16 May

Tuesday 29 July – Saturday 2 August

Tuesday 4 – Saturday 8 November

 

Please note that limited places are available, and while we do have some flexibility with the dates above, your preferred dates may not be possible. A maximum of 2 placements will be offered per school, each year.

  • what year you are in and where you go to school 
  • the dates you are hoping to undertake work experience
  • the contact name and number of your school coordinator
  • tell us about yourself and your interests (100 words)
  • why you have applied for work experience placement at Penrith Regional Gallery and what you hope to achieve during this time (100 words)
